Seasonal Pests

Boxelder bugs can be a nuisance when they invade homes during the fall. They do not bite but can puncture skin when handled. During the winter months, these pests might take shelter in the siding of your home and will emerge on warmer, sunny days.

Millipedes are attracted to moist areas around your home. Spotting millipedes around your home is the telltale sign of an infestation. During warm and rainy months, running a dehumidifier can reduce the chance of a millipede infestation.

Centipedes, while causing no harm to humans, are most definitely a nuisance to find inside your home. The only sign of a centipede infestation will be spotting the pest in and around your home.

Pillbugs do not cause any harm to humans but can be annoying to find within the home. Spotting these pests inside your home typically means there is a large population outside, which has possibly begun migrating into your home.
